    this was only my second quilt ever. not the best picture, sorry. i always planned to make another watercolor quilt. very fun. i saw it made on alex anderson's show and just had to make one :D

    That's beautiful! :D The colors you chose are lovely. Are the blocks made up of tiny squares?

    thanks, the only tiny squares are in the wreaths. it is made with fusible. very easy and fun. the larger blocks kind of look like they are small squares also. that is the quilting.
    this was a very early effort & i now realize that i should have made the wreaths with a much bolder print and that their background should match much more closely the background fabric i chose.
    oh well, no quilt police, right?

    Aren't watercolor quilts fun? Yours is very pretty. I'm guessing you used Dina Pappas method of Quick watercolor quilting. I took her class before she actually wrote her book on the subject. Your fabrics are very pretty!!! :thumbup:
