    Default Log Cabin Star Quilt

Finally finished my long, long planned Log Cabin Star Quilt top, from the pattern book from Eleanor Burns. I felt it would be a challenge, have had the book for at least two years. Once I finally started, it was so much fun. Easy strip piecing, and really great step by step photos. My local quilt shop owner guided me a little on some color choices for contrast. I wanted a little blue in it, and wanted it to look sort of dark. Another different color choice for me, hope you like it. It is a large Queen or maybe King size, and I think I may actually send it out to be quilted.

It is very striking! Looks great and also is a bonus that you enjoyed making it! It will quilt up beautifully.
