Default Log Cabin Swirl and Snow Friends

Hi - you might recognize the first picture if you looked at my question about PP under the main topics. Otherwise, here are my latest two fun projects.

I fell in love with the Log Cabin Swirl by Brenda Groelz. I want to make another one with different colors and with better FMQ. I sort of did the quilting in the white areas by the seat of my pants. Next time I'll plan a little better.

The second one is Snow Friends by Sindy Rodenmayer, one I've wanted to do for a while now. Gee, that means one off the bucket list! It's raw edge applique and fits right in with my other snowmen. I go goo-goo over snowmen!

Love the Log Cabin Swirl, never saw that before. Have to check it out. Your wall hanging and arrangement look so nice.

Really cool swirly log cabin. I have never seen that before. I am alwys so amazed at how many different patterns all the board's quilters come up with. The snowmen wall hanging is just adorable...especially the melted one.
