This has been a challenge and a blast to quilt this one! It's 75 x 77" and is the first time I've done the McTavishing (the fine busy quilting around the feathers). I used Hobbs 80/20, Superior's Lava thread for the top and Sew Fine for the bobbin.
I'm hoping the customer will like it!!!

Thank you EVERYONE! Sneed -- if you look at the center of the motif -- that's a stencil I got for less than $5.00. I use rules and go around and around in it --- NO tie-offs!!!! The McTavishing is fun -- but scary at first -- you can't hardly screw up, but if you do it's a PAIN to take out!Originally Posted by Sneed
