Lone Star Twist has 16 pieces of 18 to 23 repeat on material. When I made this one I didn't have the material so I had two sheets and this is what I made it out of. If you want a quick quilt this is it. Only thing there is alot of wasted material with this quilt. You need around 6 yds to do this quilt.

I never thought to make a Lone Star that way.

Your quilt is beautiful. It definitely doesn't look quick. The stack and whack is on my to do list.
