I pieced this top years ago as a class sample, and I finally got it quilted. It will be for sale in my etsy shop eventually, but for now it's in my livingroom because it matches the paint I used on the trim in there! I have to finish editing the rest of the pictures and write the sales spiel, and then I will get it listed for sale.

Very nice. It would be hard to get rid of it after putting it up and seeing how nice it matches your room.

GORGEOUS!!!!! I love your color choices, and your work (as always!) is terrific!! I keep thinking I need to do a lone star, but then I find something else I "just have to try" first. (I think I am a bit cowardly about trying the lone star.... maybe I will someday grow up and be brave enough to try it. hehehe)

There's the finished listing if you want to see more pictures.

Once again simply stunning Cathe, I'm impressed. Was it done with the strip-pieced method? I've seen the Lone star done several ways and all seem equally challenging; one day perhaps I’ll feel my skills up to trying one.

I just got a copy of Jan Krentz's "Lone Star Quilts and Beyond" which only makes me appreciate the art even more. Bravo!!!

"but for now it's in my livingroom because it matches the paint I used on the trim in there!" Gosh then, you might have to just make another when it sells! :D
