My oldest granddaughter Molly (will be 5 in less than a month) wanted to sew a quilt this weekend for her doll Jesse (from Toy Story). We looked at some fabric and she said that Jesse wanted red cuz that would match her cowgirl hat. Got the machine set and she sat on my lap moving the fabric. Her quilt is two pieces of fabric, that we sewed 3 3/4 sides, pulled it through and then had to find a fancy stitch to use on the outside. She told me when it was done that she found her talent and likes sewing. Yeah, another quilter in the family!!!
