    I looks great to me. I need someone to teach me how to do the freehand quilting. The back of mine doesn't look right so I haven't attempted to do it on a realy quilt yet.

    Thanks, it does feel good to have it done. I had forgotten how long FMQ took, as it's been a while... For this large, lap size quilt I'd say it was a good 4 hours of quilting and LOTS of thread. I think I went through a whole large size Mettler spool of thread for just the FMQ. That doesn't count the piecing.

    This has always been one of my favorite patterns (it's on my someday list) and I like your version very much. You know what, if your blacks don't match they are "unique" and all cat owners will tell you each cat is unique, so you have a perfect blend. Congratulations on finishing - it was worth the wait.
