See what my wonderful hubby did for me! He is not happy with the way is looks (He is a complete perfectionist when it comes to stuff he does), but I just think its perfect! This will work great when I am attempting FMQ with it now!!!

A good man is hard to find! But, excuse me for asking, is your avatar the only way he can keep you from that machine?
Well, enjoy both of them!

Love it, yep I would say he is a keeper :D
I asked my better half to do the same but he wanted to use a very expensive lift kit.
Maybe your husband would share how he did yours?

LOL, yeah she is one of four. I don't get quite as much sewing time as I would like, but they aren't young forever.

All we did is traced the base of my sewing machine on a piece of cardboard and after it fit over the machine nice and snug, I traced the template onto my table. DH then used a jigsaw and cut it for me then sanded the table down so that it doesnt scratch up the machine. Hope this helps

Ok I am understanding how you cut the hole for the machine but how or what does the machine sit on once you have it in the newly made hole?

he made the whole so snug that it is actually holding itself He figures if it starts to work its way loose, then he will build a little shelf for it to sit on.
