my scissors!!!! I have been waiting, for what seems like forever for them(really it has been 7 days). I've never tried Gingher scissors before so I had to get some and try them out. They are heavy, I'm impressed. Can't wait to use them...now to pick a project to use them.

If you get into the habit of storing them in the sleeve that comes with them...it makes it even harder for the "Kids" to mistake these scissors for the ones that are OK to use.

My kids don't usually fear me - guess I'm not that fearsome - but if they get near my fabric scissors they actively cringe at my response. Every male in my life has nicked my good tools, but these are sacrosanct and even the hubby knows it! I love my Ginghers, enjoy them.

I like to hoard scissors. Everyone in my house knows which ones they can use(lol...all the cheap ones). I keep the ones they use in a junk drawer with the kid scissors. My scissors are all kept away so they don't use them.

I've had my Gingher scissors for probably 35 years, have never been sharpened. And they are great, a little heavy, but they get the job done. I keep mine in their boxes, I have the pinking ones also, and the little embroidery ones.
