Thread: Look what I did on my birthday!

    My DH took me for a ride upstate to Walton, NY to one of my favorite quilt store. Everything was on sale. MMM, that's odd so I asked the important question and received the news I so hoped wasn't true.... They are closing the store.

    Well, 2 hours later, this is what got. There's so much more I want. :(

    Well happy birthday anyway, it is so sad to hear of the LQS closing. It seems so many are closing these days, or discontinuing their fabric departments.

    Nice gift though.

    wow, awesome birthday! can you tell your hubby that you want to go back and stock up on fabric for Christmas and other gifts in the future

    thanks for sharing, see if the quilt shop has any fixtures for sale if you need any cutting tables etc.

    Love your fabric. It makes me sad when I hear about another fabric store closing it's doors.

    Oh, that's a good idea. I didn't look in their classroom. They do have a number of beautiful quilts and things that are for sale. I simply ran out of $$
