Look what I did today!

I have to admit, if I have enough fabric to do this - I have enough to consider it a stash. Whoo Hooo!!! I find I tend to buy 3 yards at a time. Either Walmart - and low priced anyway, or Joannes with a 50% off coupon. I have one by my office and go there at least twice a week :)
I got a few of the bolt thingies (do they have a name?) from Joannes yesterday and just used cardboard for the rest today. Cleaned out the closet yesterday and now if I ever finish a real project, I just might get this room turned into my sewing room!

I did just ask. I wanted my husband to make some for me and when we "stopped" at Joannes, he had me ask. I was a little reluctant - but they were very nice and said they normally just throw them away. I got about 6 or 7 of them.
As it turned out I didn't want to wait for him, so I got the utility knife and went to town :-D

No, the ones I got from Joannes are used as is. I cut down cardboard boxes we had in the basement to make most of what I had. The Joanne ones are much nicer on the left. Mine were much flatter :)
