I love my old Pfaffs! I have a Pfaff 1222E, my favorite for piecing quilts. A Pfaff 60 treadle, sews nicely and great for quilting. Your quilt is wonderful too.

A beauty for sure, but think about what the previous owner must be thinking. She is probably smiling ear to ear knowing that someone like you have found her quilting treasures and your are "loving" them.

any labeling to let you know how old the quilt is? Good finds.

I have a Pfaff 130, Made In Germany, in 1950, according to the serial number. This particular model is a collector's item for Pfaff lovers. I bought brand new in 1968 a Pfaff 262, a much newer version, but most of the feet between the 130 and 262 are interchangeable. I would get a second opinion on the rust situation. Also, there is a guy, Zeus Machines, that totally restores Pfaffs, especially the 130 models. You might google and talk to him.
