When I called a woman on Craigslist about a sewing machine she was getting rid of, she told me that someone was going to be picking it up in the afternoon. She also mentioned she had a treadle model she was also getting rid of but didn't list it.
I left my phone number with her and told her I would take the treadle the next morning. She called me later and told me the man didn't show up and did I want both. I said "Of course, I will see you first thing in the morning!"
Well here they are: A beautiful Singer Model 66-1 Treadle that works like a dream until I cleaned it today and broke the bobbin winder.
The other is a Singer Model 99 in a case with a knee pedal.
And the best part is they were FREE!! :thumbup: :) :thumbup:
