WOW that looks great!

I bought some of the silver (and gold) ironing board fabric but haven't
made the covers yet for all my ironing boards. Some of them are odd
shapes and I will have to work on getting the covers cut right.

I need to make a new ironing board cover. After 30 or so years it is coming apart. Do you need special fabric?

I have the new pad and fabric to make a cover setting next to my ironing board as I type this. However, I have to finish the quilt I'm working on before I redo the cover. My husband and 6 year old son remind me often that I need to redo the cover. Goofy boys - don't notice the dirt they track in on their boots, but they do notice my stained ironing board cover!

Ooooh, a nice fresh ironing board! I have used the tip from QB on ironing a layer of white freezer paper onto my ironing surface to keep it nice. When the paper starts to look nasty you just peel it off and put on another piece.

Very pretty. I think it would make beautiful pillow cases too. Unless it has some sort of finish on the inside.

Love your new ironing board cover and whatever that is to the right with the chickens on it. Would love to see a close up picture of them.
