Default Look what I made tonight! Black and white for AAQI

I picked up the March/April issue of McCall's Quilting, and fell in love with Silhouette, a beautiful quilt in black and white. I could not help myself, I had to mini - ize it! I had all of the black and white fabrics I needed in my stash, something that will not surprise you if you follow my posts!

This is the top. This will finish at 9" by 11", and is headed for AAQI.

Hope you like it!

If you're into black and white...there is an amazing maze quilt in the new Quilt magazine. It is all done in black, white and shades of grey and is only 2 different blocks. It looks awesome and I am thinking of doing it in miniature too. Love your little black and white mini!

I saw that quilt also and it is on my list of quilts to do. Usually I am not inspired by quilt magazines. But the McCalls Mar/April issue had several I really liked. The only reason I purchased the mag was because I want to do the mystery quilt.

I fell in love with this quilt also. Saw it in the magazine and started hunting up music themed fabrics. I have several projects to finish first but when I get them done, I will start on a queen size Silhouette. This is a very striking pattern and you did a great job making it mini-size.
