Look what I whipped out yesterday and today
This is my interpretation of the BQ quilt. I was too cheap to buy the pattern, so I looked at all the pics on the Internet and came up with this. I've has the floral fabric forever and decided it was time to do something with it. It will have the same floral backing and binding. I plan to do a cross hatch on the floral squares, but don't know what to do on the rest. Any suggestions?

Your quilt is lovely. I love the BQ pattern. I really admire you for figuring it out yourself. It's my go to pattern when I need something quick. And, of course, I always use the large blocks. The small ones would take a lot longer. Probably 2 days instead of 1.

I think a Babtist fan pattern would be lovely on this quilt. or a Clam shell but A Baptist fan pattern would be fabulous. The floral fabric looks very vintage and soft so a vintage quilting pattern would be very nice. It will also show up nice on the open areas of the quilt and give lovely texture, imho.
I love your quilt But don't recall what a BQ is, please inform me and make me smart!

EDIT: When I say Baptist fan quilting pattern, I would do it over the entire quilt and not do crosshatching in the floral, just to be clear. I do love the top.
