Wowza! I know this is an older thread, but I LOVE the pineapple quilt. I am just completing one myself (and found this one in a Google search), but would love to make another with the color palette similar to your moms. Do you happen to know which pattern was used?

I see this is a very old thread, resurrected... Your mom is an amazing quilter! Is she still quilting? Those quilts should have been sent to shows! They look like blue ribbons to me.

holy cow! I want to "grow-up" to be your Mom! I LOVE IT when "veteran" women prove over and over how to keep tackling life no-stop! AWESOME!
I especially liked the 3rd and last ones--so very unique.

WOW! Unbelievable, such beautiful work! Please post her picture and you turned out to be such an enabler! Good job, just curious which paper piecing method you exposed her to that she took to so readily??
