Both are really nice :!:  No need for either of you not to be happy with the finished project. I like both of them!

Wow those are both lovely
Amma: I love puples :P ( my favourite colour) and they go so well with the greens. First quilt  , no way :D , your daughter is very lucky to be getting such a lovely quilt.
Enola: that is so cute, just perfect for a little fella, Thomas and Buzz Lightyear, what boy wouldn't be thrilled :P

And you can be very proud too enola05. You have nothing to feel shamed over. That is a darling and well-made quilt! What little man wouldn't just love that!?! :)

You both did a great job. You both must have a lot of sewing experience. I like them both :D :D

Thank you for the comments, you are all so kind! This was paper pieced, or it would have been very wonky  I have done other craft sewing, which did help with piecing. Most of the credit however goes to the encouragement of everyone here :D :D :D I am dreading the binding aspect of the quilting process, the binding is laying on the quilt in the picture so that I could see what it looked like. I am waiting until I get all the tops completed and then will tackle the quilting and binding all at once. My oldest daughter loves purple and the one I am working on now for my younger daughter is in blues which are her favorite.
