I found this pattern, which I altered extensively, at a quilt shop in Redlands, Ca in June when my DSIL passed away. The pattern is called Cyndie's Quilt. The designer was in the shop while I was there and was sweet enough to autograph it for me. It has taken 1,021 hours of stitching to applique the top. I have to now decide how to quilt it. I will mock up a couple of blocks and play with it for a while to decide. I promised last night I would post a pic today, so here she is. Excuse the other things pinned on the design wall along with it, just some pieces for a friend

The colors are much brighter when you see it, they are all batiks, but this poor old camera is very tired and can't see a lot better than I can

I love applique also - but know I could not have possibly done all this since June. You must have only appliqued for the past 3 months WOW!!. Great colors, love the framing around your blocks.
