Both are beautiful! Wow, your FMQ is fantastic -- you should be very proud. Both are color combos that I would not have thought of -- good job.

love the scrappy, great job
Very pretty quilts. I love the bright colors. I am in the market for a new machine and think I will stick with a Janome. The one I now have is a no frills machine, but is such a good one. Had it for over 10 years and have not had a single problem with it. I just want one with a larger throat so I can squeeze in those quilts a little easier. Do you love yours!
I find that I am often tired of the fabrics in a quilt by the time I finish the quilt. That feeling will go away, you will eventually look at the quilt with fresh eyes and realize how beautiful it is. I am really taken by the string quilt. Those black sashings with the blue cornerstones give such a 3-d look to it. I think it's one of the prettiest string quilts I've seen.
Yes I love my Janome.... it is a workhorse.....
And thank you for all of the encourageing words for each....
This is a great board!

Love the colors in both of your quilts. The bright yellows really stand out in the first quilt. So glad you finished it and shared them both.

Good job on both quilts. I really love your scrappy, especially your use of the black sashing and blue setting squares and border then the black print border. What a great way to tie it all together! wonderful quilt and great quilting also.

I believe UFOs are like scraps, ferns and dust bunnies. Once you get two, they send spores out into the air and more just happen anywhere the spores meet.
