I made this quilt for my daughter's best friend for graduation. You can't tell from the picture, but all of the fabric is musical notes or instruments. That is my daughter and Derek holding up the quilt. I think he was pretty surprised and pleased.

You can always tell when someone loves a quilt they just received. The look on his face says it all.

I made 9 quilts for graduation this year. When you have spent as much time with these kids as I have (our house was the gathering place), you know which kids will appreciate the quilts. I was going to make one for one of my daughter's friends and my daughter said, "Don't put the time & money into one for her. She will not take care of it." So she got a polar fleece quillow instead.

Wow you have been very busy. I love this quilt. You did an awesome job. Is this the pattern from Eleonor Burns?
Did you do all the quilts in this pattern? I bet they all loved them. Your daughter and Derek look very happy with theirs.
    Great job.
