Default LQS 6 month mystery - month one.

My local quilt shop is hosting a 6 month mystery quilt. You must buy all fabric for the top from the shop. You pick up your next clue sheet from the shop on or after the first Tuesday of each month. The one who comes in with the first finished top will receive a prize. There will be a party to display all finished tops after the mystery is over.

You choose 3 fabrics - lots of contrast is suggested - a light, medium, and a dark. Mine are from Moda's Prairie Paisley line. (I had a $50 gift card and had a filled buyer loyalty card worth $25 or I would have had to pass this up, but I love, love, love this fabric. Could just stand around and pet it - feels so good!)

You could choose to make either a twin or a queen size - the queen is made with simply added borders. I chose the twin.

The first month's instructions are just these little triangles.

Love your fabric choices, I did a shop mystery quilt that ended a couple of months ago, it was fun, but ours had a lot of triangles (I will have to get pics up). Cant wait to see more progress.
