Your quilt is fabulous!Quilt and quilting are amazing! It made me think of the song, Somewhere over the Rainbow...going from the black and white outer colors to the multicolored hexes.
Do you hand or machine stitch the hexes together? I have received the free sample kits of tiny hexes that are often given out at quilt shows. I thought about making a mug rug with them. Thank you for sharing your happy quilt.

Wow! I don't have the patience for hand sewing so I am in awe of any that are done that way or hand quilted!
It's funny because I just found a small bag of hexagons today in my late MIL's material and I took one look and put the bag away! Lol! But now I pulled it out again and am wondering if I can incorporate a few in her granddaughter and husband's wall hanging.
Thanks for sharing.

Gorgeous Lynnie - as your quilts always are. Thanks for the explanation about the border....i sat and started at the photo for several minutes trying to figure out how you did it....gave up and scrolled through the comments. Great idea -- i will tuck it away for future reference !! Thanks for sharing....and kudos to Charisma too for her beautiful work.
