Beautiful quilts...glad you conquered binding! I actually love doing bindings...weird but true...find it almost as satisfying as quilting.

When I started sewing my binding on using the 1/4 inch foot, it's been easier, but I still have to do quite a bit of pinning --I use very fine quilting pins and can sew over them. I have found a 2" binding works best for me, too. I used to use a 2 1/2 inch binding. I've been at this business for years, but it is always rewarding to learn how to do something easier or better!

Nice quilts. ... I have not sewn a binding on by hand in years. Love doing them by machine.

Thanks for the tut. This is how I end my binding but it is usually a space of time between bindings.....and a lot of frustration trying to remember how to do it. Now I have pictures!!!
