I try to show how its made trapunto - as I do.Talk to the pictures!
Rip the paper...

The sandwich(backing, batting, top fabric, and the pattern on a tear-away paper)

Pin up together

I use an invisible thread(you do not need, a different color pick the pattern...)

Sew around the pattern on the line

The result of the first step

Stippling the selected area with the walking foot

And the extra area too...(advisable using quilting frame)
