Default made for retiring co-worker

My first picture post. This D9P is one I hated, almost didn't finish it. I am glad I did. I think it may be one of my favorites now that is is completed. It is quilted with a gold thread, and quilted by a local LA quilter. Hope you like it.

Great quilt and nice quilting! Is it D9P cut again on the diagonal and triangles added?

Very pretty. Would love to know how you did a DNP with triangles.

What a thoughtful gift! So very nice and I love that pattern -- been wanting to make the same one in scraps!

The pattern name is Magic 9 Patch. A square is sewn to each quarter of the 9 patch to make a hst. You will get two blocks out of each 9 patch.
