    made for retiring co-worker

My first picture post. This D9P is one I hated, almost didn't finish it. I am glad I did. I think it may be one of my favorites now that is is completed. It is quilted with a gold thread, and quilted by a local LA quilter. Hope you like it.Name: Margaret Robison Retirement Photos (22).jpg

Great quilt and nice quilting! Is it D9P cut again on the diagonal and triangles added?

Very pretty. Would love to know how you did a DNP with triangles.

What a thoughtful gift! So very nice and I love that pattern -- been wanting to make the same one in scraps!

The pattern name is Magic 9 Patch. A square is sewn to each quarter of the 9 patch to make a hst. You will get two blocks out of each 9 patch.
