When I pull mine out of the magazine, I put them in a plastic container that hold hanging file folders. I mark each file like paper piecing, big quilts or whatever. I find this works better for me than the 3 ring binding. I go thru this file very often to find patterns.

    Cool

Hi, I do have ring folders and plastic sleeves to keep patterns in. I label the folder e.g. internet patterns, mag. patterns etc. I also have folders on the computer of mag patterns and internet patterns. I label them accordingly - bags, brights, applique, small quilts, large quilts, miscellaneous etc. I put these computer folders in a main folder called QUILTS. It works for me and then when I want to print one out I just do it as I need it. Then you don't have heaps of hard copies and running out of space to put them all.
    Cheers from Downunder.

The 3 ring binder is the way to go. I've clipped out decorating ideas, sewing ideas, quilting, pictures I took in model homes, yard ideas, things to build, organization, etc.....for years. I have 3 very full binders, which a number of people have borrowed over the years when they needed to get ideas. I see ideas everywhere I go -- and I use them!

I do exactly the same thing. I can get binders really cheap at Goodwill, too.

3 ring binder is the best and cheapest way to go.
