These are 3 projects I'm working on.. first is D9P for my nephew that the top is finished. the color is much richer than it shows. a claret type red..forest green and black.
Second and third are quilt tops for an orphanage.

how many rows did you make for the orphanage quilts can't tell by the picture,

Your nephew's quilt is outstanding. Love those colors in the D9P. Looks very masculine.

The kids at the orphanage are getting gorgeous quilts. Two lucky kids are going to love snuggling into their new quilts.

Did you use a poly batting for the 2 quilts? You've had a busy week-end.

The orphanage the quilts are for is in Africa.. as the temp ranges from 70 to 100 I think we're going to quilt them with either a sheet or flannel type fabric in middle and maybe muslin on the back. I do hope they like them.. want to get a few more tops made. None are quilted yet. I'm piecing them and Chewboo has offered to quilt them.

Those 2 quilts are 5" unfinished blocks and they are 9 blocks wide and so far 12 rows long. But I think I'll make them 14.
