I'll tell you, it's been one rough week at school--emotionally. I'm wrung out and ever so glad it's Friday.

Yesterday I came home to find a sweet soft package--and upon opening it discovered two black and whites from Marcia. Poor woman got a mishmash run down of what had happened, but I wanted her to know just how well timed her gift was. :D

Now to Mamagus... she gave me a delicious link to a fabric site and on another stressful day, I made myself happy by over filling the "free shipping if your order is over $150" lure. I just saved my cart, for I've never purchased that much before! Then, weeks later, I was drooling over it again. I mentioned to hubby that it'd be fun to hit the submit button. He said go ahead. So, I did. It came today. Another well timed package.

The flannel on the left will be for a ragged flannel for my son's girlfriend. Her favorite color is burnt orange, so this is a start. My daughter loves growing herbs and picking apples, so the right one is for her--maybe a back, maybe a top. She has the Lake one coming, so maybe a wall hanging?

These next ones are for another floral log cabin. The right one will be for the light side, the others for the floral side. I think that dark one will work--it's pretty dark.

I loved this big panel! It will be for the back of a crib quilt. I've made so many bigger tops lately, I want to focus on baby stuff for a bit. I have a friend expecting her second grandchild and needs to buy another for this one. There's a better market for this size, too.

I love this one!! I'll cut these up and figure out what blocks to add to make a wall hanging or small top. I think Mamagus did one with these...so I'll have to search for it. I like her ideas!

This is the fabric that caused the trouble in the first place! I taught my kids to read at age 3 with Dick and Jane books. All they need is one title under their belt and they are ready to move to other titles... amazing motivator to have a thick book they can read all by themselves.

This piece will help make whatever the above one turns into.

I think this is my favorite piece!! It's flannel and I can't stop looking at it. I kept adding yards to the order...and ended up with 4. Hope it's enough. I've always been a sucker for cute Teddy bears.

The only challenge now is finding time to sew. With chores, then school, then chores, then grading...I'm ready for bed. But, it's raining tonight...

Have a great weekend Karla. I remember well how tired I was on Friday nights! Now one day is just like the other... sew, sew, sew broken up by day trips to go buy more fabric!

Well--I was thinking since you tempted me, maybe you should be responsible for part of the bill!

I have to find that picture of the ABCs panel you used... maybe it's in my bookmarks... going to check.

I'm back--it's not there and I checked your topics... so who did use that ABC panel? Hmmmm.... :?: :?: :?:

So much fun ahead, making up the fabric into just exactly what you want to. Sorry you are so stressed and tired. Nothing gives us energy than sitting in front of the sewing machine. You deserve it.
