    Default Tummy Time with Mickey Mouse

    Here is a baby quilt featuring Mickey Mouse fabric, as well as fleece scraps that I have used to make appliques. I think the soft texture of the fleece will be nice for babies. The diameter is 50".

    The idea of a circular baby quilt made with a wedge ruler was shown here on the board a few months ago, but I have lost the original post.

    Again the plan for this quilt is the annual Bible camp quilt auction. That is, unless there is a new baby in the family before then!

    [QUOTE=quiltingshorttimer;7726545]very cute

    Fleece is the perfect thing for me to use in applique -- the raw edge looks fine, and my zigzag stitches just sink into the fleece and are not noticeable.

    I do a lot of fleece blankets for Project Linus. When I can get the solid colors on sale, I dress up the blanket with a fleece image from a remnant appliqued on.
