Default Quilted Composition Journal Cover

I wanted to make a journal cover and found a video tutorial on the web. Karen Overton (The Quilt Rambler) does the instruction. It is a bit time consuming to make, but not difficult. These make nice gifts.

Beautifully done. I did these a couple of years ago as gifts for residents of a local nursing home. We couldn't give them anything scented or any food products, so it was a little difficult to fill their gift bags. I thought they could use these for writing important numbers, or notes to refer back to. Just an idea for those who struggle to come up with gifts for the people who have everything!

Love the fabric you used, too.

I love it. Will have to look it up. I made a cover but only has slot for pen. I like the zipper pocket.
