Default Mariner's Compass Blocks

I joined a paper piecing club in hopes of learning how to do paper piecing so that one day I can do one of the Judy Niemeyer quilts. I got off to a rough start, but once I got my questions answered, I hit the ground running! These are the first two blocks I did for the Mariner's Compass Collection. I am having SO much fun with this! I think I really like paper piecing! :-) I can't wait to start the 3rd block!

I love your blocks. They are so colorful. I, too, got off to a rough start paper piecing and didn't finish the project nor did I try PP again. Good luck.

Beautiful Blocks--Be fun to see your quilt when they are all done. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.

Those are lovely. I recently re-attempted paper piecing after a rough start several years ago. It's going much better this time, and I'm working on the Dancing with the Stars block of the month. Mariner's Compass was always on my wish list - maybe I'll take a look at this now that I can paper piece.

Do you have the "add a quarter" ruler. It is AWESOME... makes pp'ing so much easier.
