Default May the 4th be with you - It's Star Wars Day

My 5 yr. old Grandson, Noah is a big Star Wars fan and I received a text from him this morning wearing the Jedi robe I made him, wishing me a Happy Star Wars day. He and I collaborated on a fabric Star Wars Death Star wallhanging for his room and I wanted to post and share it on Star Wars Day.

That is so great. It's fun when the little one is involved. My great-nephew went to a fabric store with his mom and found some Star Wars fabric, he was asking his mom to make him a blanket with it. She doesn't do things like that yet but it was so cute watching him carry the bolt of fabric around the store she took a picture of it, sent it to me. I was able to find the fabric here in San Diego and made him a quilt with a matching pillow case. He was so excited.

while watching the movie. they are so cute at that age.

It's kind of fun to see the Star Wars Legacy continue thru a generation. My son is 35 and loved Star Wars. Now, he has 3 sons who also love Star Wars. For me, it's so heart-warming to see my son's little ones battling it out with their Star Wars Lasers and of course ME, pulling them in a wagon as we fly thru the galaxy in search of Tuscan Raiders (or Tuscan Rangers)...........Unfortunately, I'm getting older, so the journeys thru the backyard galaxy require a resting lap in between!!!
