If it is bothering you....It looks close enough to the edge that you could hand stitch your quilt label over it? Or a heart....the fabrics are wonderful!...even the green triangle!

It looks cute, but not what you wanted. Can you cut close to the stitching with sharp scissors, the pull the theads out?

    Very cute quilt.

Been there done that only it was a Kwik Sew pattern envelope and the pattern was in it! I was using invisible thread which I now hate and was doing a lot of meandering. Boy what a mess! Count your blessings it could have been a much bigger piece of fabric. Nice quilt, for a special baby.

Don't feel alone. When I was taking Home Ec in 6th grade about 60 years ago, I sewed my poodle skirt right into my project. My next lesson was on frog sewing, "rip-it, rip-it, rip-it". It was a lesson that I have practiced many time since so now I rip-it very well. LOL and I'm glad you could laugh about your boo boo also.

I did that with a sweatshirt makeover, and I got a piece caught in the inside. I told everybody it was my "signature".

That sounds like a good idea to me. I hate to rip quilting stitches.

Maybe somehow you could make a lable out of this. Or not. So sorry for the extra material that hopped on your quilt.
