    Yeah, next fall.

Meant to have this wall hanging done to decorate the house this fall. It's just the top. I seem to do that, finish the top and then stop. I guess maybe it's because of my lack of quilting experience. I make a nice looking top and then don't want to mess it up or something.

I know the feeling. I have several top UFO's that I don't want to mess up with the wrong quilting so they are waiting for....???? I will get to them eventually! It looks lovely and you will finish it for next year, right?

Beetle, I was the same way for a LONG time. That is how I ended up with so many UFO's. One day I said to myself, "Self" you have got to finish some of these. I picked one out and just started hand stitching. The stitches were not small then, but they have gotten smaller over the last 3 years. Your wall hanging is much to pretty to stop there. I would make it much bigger. It is gorgeous.

That is really pretty. I so relate. I think I am also afraid to finish them up because i'm not happy with my quilting abilities and I don't want to pay to have it done.

This will be really nice for next Fall.

Very nice! I'm in your same boat. By next Fall, you will have more practice under your belt.

Wow, that is SO neat!!! Are those leaves appliqued on? I REALLY need to learn how to do that. :D

    Thanks for the compliments everyone.
@ Brazen, they are just appliqued with the fusible webbing. I haven't actually stitched them. I figured for a wall hanging I could get away with that. I really need to practice a blanket stitch and satin stitch. I took a quilting motif out of a magazine and traced it to make it the leaves. I'd make it bigger but ran out of the fabrics and I think it would look funny to add on with different fabric. As it is, it's pretty large/long.
