Purple French Braid Tablerunners
Here is a tablerunner that coordinate w/the two wallhangings that I did and posted here. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...s-t220484.html They are done w/some of the same fabrics. Quilted w/curls inside a feather using C&C variegated purple thread. The centers are a butterfly motif quilted w/Sulky Holoshimmer purple metallic thread. There is still one more piece to this group (a square table topper - French Braid Star) but, I just haven't had the time to quilt it. The back is a butterfly batik print from JoAnn's. The larger is on my dining room table. The smaller (shown before I quilted it) is for a drop leaf table used as a sofa table.

I want to thank you for your kind comments about my quilting. This was the first time that I did curls in feathers (or feathers of any kind other than Sally Terry's "Hooked on Feathers"). I wasn't that happy w/them when it was on the frame. But with time and distance, they are looking better to me.
