Hi Quilty Friends:
Thought I'd share the Suduku quilt I just finished. This is the block our quilt group worked on for our monthly program last week. It's very, very easy so our teacher taught it for the benefit of a couple really brand new quilter members. Something that would be great for kids to do. The instructions were free in the magazine subscription renewal notice. This is going to be a charity quilt and I've decided I'll make several more as they go together quick. I seem to have 4 huge tubs of flannel scraps so will get busy and use it up and have a cuddly quilt for the foster kids program. AGAIN, this is just a simple little quilt that makes up quick and uses up scraps. Nothing to win a blue ribbon with.

Suduku Block from McCalls Quick Quilts-April 2009. Blocks are 4 1/2 inch square with a 2 inch blue sashings around each 9 patch block

I think a quilt that will be used and loved every day is FAR better than a blue ribbon winner! Cute pattern--the kids are going to love this one!

Very nice, Feathers! I have a Suduku quilt in the making as well. I love the puzzles and made the blocks just like the puzzle I had just finished. Makes an easy quilt and a great stash-buster as well.
