We went to Tn this morning to get her. She is a Singer 66-6.
1930-1935. She came complete with accessories, book,... She has the Dome lid complete with key. She purrs like a kitten, couldn't believe how she sews. Some decals have been worn off the front from usage. I found her on Craigslist for $100. It was love at 1st site for my DH and myself. We are proud to add her to our family of 7 other machines. Here is a few pics. We are going to clean her up and service her. (she's been in the attic for about 50yrs, they said) We chose to name her after my DMIL who lived with us and passed away 3yrs ago last month.

Love her front plate and round one on back.

Every time I see one of these it makes me want to cry, my grandmother gave me one and someone stole it along with some other household items. :-(

It look so much like this one, case and all!

    Good looking machine!

We were told the previous owner was 90yrs old and was the only other owner. Of course, we will never really know, but we think she is a beauty.
