A friend of mine passed away in May from brain cancer. I received a bunch of his t-shirts and made a memorial quilt for his partner of 20 years. This is the first t-shirt quilt I made and the first time I did free motion quilting. One of the guild members gave a lecture on making t-shirt quilts and I used her method. It was easy and fun.

A terrific quilt Chuck. The checkerboard pattern with the smaller boarders top and bottom, the manner in which you balanced the colors and motifs, well, it's so clearly well-designed. You've created a precious quilt which will give much comfort.
