The first quilt I made for my Mom's 75th birthday. There were 7 of us kids and many grand and great grandchildren, so I made collages in order to get as many pics as possible on the quilt. It hangs in my parents bedroom and my Dad sat on the bed and relived all the memories in the quilt everyday until he died, last August. The second quilt I made for my in-laws, unfortunately they haven't appreciate theirs like my parents have...in fact I have no idea where it even is, it was not in evidence last time I was at their house...oh, well, what can I say???

Lovely quilts. Perhaps your in-laws love their's so much they are afraid to display it for fear it will fade or get dirty. Maybe they don't know you can wash them.

I suppose that is a possibility...if their daughter had made it, I guarantee it would be front and center.
