Memory/Photo Quilt
#1
This is the first photo quilt I have made and thought you all might enjoy seeing it. I had a blast making it. I just love old pictures. It's for my mother-in-law's 83rd birthday in May. I added some quiltagami butterflies and some fabric rosettes to add dimension. Hope you enjoy!

I have just one word for your quilt.....
AWWWWWWWW....SOME
I have wanted to make a quilt like that but I didn't own a computer or copy machine when I first saw them a few years back. Did you find it easy to do? Is it washable?
Which one of the boys in the pics is your husband?

Thank you so much. I thought it was easy. I've only been quilting a year this spring. This was the fabric sheets for the ink jet printers that I used. There is a step you have to do after you print them to make them colorfast and I did that. I don't intend for this to be washed very often, and hopefully she will let me do it! Yes, it is washable, but I plan on her using it as a wall hanging. My husband is the only son and he's the one on the right back when he was young. He's 53 now! Thanks for looking...kim
