Default A memory quilt from my dad's shirts & jeans.

I found this pattern by L. Worland "Hawaiian Shirt" 2005 @ www.paper panache.com My dad only wore jeans and short sleeve button up shirts or flannel shirts. The fabric is all from his shirts and jeans except the black back ground, the neck portions, and the teal border. I have a new embroidery machine that I am loving.
The feather because my dad was part indian and very involved with a tribe where he lived.
Now to see if this actually posts. I have been having failure to load issues I just gave up for the longest time! Here goes something.

Thank you so much for all the time and love you put into this quilt.
Really like the pattern you used, Poppy would be so proud of you.

What a wonderful memory quilt. You did a great job on it ~ on of the nicest tributes I've seen.

That is so special. I'm just now in the process of making one from my Dad's shirts and jeans and yours is such an inspiration.

That just brought tears to my eyes! What a treasurer for sure! I wish I was into quilting when my dad passed. I wore one of his t-shirts as a nightie until it feel apart.
