My daughter's boyfriend brought a puppy to our house. It was full of fleas and worms and had hardly any fur. Took him to the vet and took special care of him. He grew to about 60lbs and was the most loveable dog. Needless to say he became "my" dog. Neighbor, 2 houses down, who didn't want a bird to land on his lawn, shot him, saying he was afraid of him. Lost 13lbs and was depressed for a long time after this. I don't think I could stand to make a quilt with his picture on it. It still hurts!!! YOUR quilt is so nice and a great way to remember your pet. Just don't think I could stand to look at one with my dog on it.
