What a fine tribute. Asbestosis is am awful way to go. I hope that making the quilt helped you with your grieving.

You are a wonderful sister to do this. She will wrap herself in this after he is gone, and remember him and you for doing such a wonderful thing. Memories will be many, tears will too, but it will be in a loving way. Thanks for sharing this with us all. Mary

Probably spelled it wrong,but Larry worked with asbestes in the Navy 45 years ago and now his lungs have fibrocis on the out side and COPD on the inside making so he can't breathe with out oxygen. He has gone from weighing about 190 lbs to less than a hundred lbs?

So sorry to hear about your brother. Your quilt is lovely and I'm sure will bring much comfort to your sister-in-law. Prayers from the gulf to help everyone get through this awful ordeal!
