    Memory Quilt

    Made this memory quilt for a good friend - made from her mom's clothes. Back was from one of her mom's bed sheets. Incorporated pics into it as well.

    What a wonderful memory quilt. I know she will treasure it. I love making memory quilts out of clothing. I have made several of them myself.

    This is a wonderful idea. I once made a quilt for my kids out of fabrics that had been used for sewing when I was a teenager. My mom and my sister and I all sewed so there were a lot of scraps. That quilt is long gone, it got loved so much that is literally fell apart. That is the joy to me of quilting.
