I have been working on this memory quilt for my MIL's 80th Birthday for months. It's one of those projects that just did not want to be made, as anything that could have gone wrong with it, did.

I am not entirely happy with it, the printable fabric has really bubbled and you couldn't quilt over it so that has made it more noticeable, I had to use 2 different types of printable fabric (long story LOL) and the EQ brand seem to be worse than the Premium Brand fabric available here in Australia. DH picked most of the fabrics.
I hope my Mother in law likes it.
The other is a tablerunner I made for my mother, she wanted stars and a particular size, she loved it.

Your MIL is going to love it! She will love looking at all of the pictures of her family.

Beautiful work Woody! I love love love how you've added the 'shadows' to all the photos - very effective! The quilting is gorgeous.

The memory quilt will be a treasure for years and years to come. What a wonderful way to honor your MIL. I also loved the table runner. Beautiful colors.

wow! I think the memory quilt is just Lovely. Your mom-in-law is going to cry. What a Treasure you have made for her, and for future generations. Beautiful.
