Couldn't have said it any better. Sometimes SITD is what a quilt sometimes needs instead of stippling or a pantograph.

I love this quilt.....love the choice of fabric and colors...love the pattern...and you did a wonderful job putting it together. I have to look up this pattern and make one of these. It is beautiful...thanks so much for sharing.

absolutely love this quilt. I stare at these pictures and I can't figure out how you sew them, like how do you know what piece to sew first etc. so they all go together? I try to imagine it in blocks but my mind can't fathom this concept. I am just starting on a quilt, but sticking to simple squares, but someday, I want to be able to make something this beautiful.

Beautiful quilt! After looking at quilts on Pinterest and seeing those done without the extra border, I like your quilt a whole lot better. I think your border really does add to it and seems to complete it. So-o-o, taking out the original quilting and going with SID, huh? There's LOTS of ditches to be done, but you seem to have a lot of patience, so I'm sure this won't be a UFO. Good luck "unquilting".
