i guess i am very retro ..or an extreme anachonism ...i make & use this style of template all the time for fussy cutting. i have never heard of or seen these offered in the lqs in this region. haven't seen them on line either. would certainly save me a few hours if i bought precut templates like this! love your mini block.wonderful color choices. i machine piece all my miniatures. took a class from sally collins years ago. wonderful teacher.

I admire your ability to focus on something so small and (to me) tedious. But I just have to ask - are you going to make more?

Maybe - But I will play with the other templates a bit - Maybe make a mini-sampler with blocks using the six templates provided. (I am glad I like the colors I started with!)

I have found that hand piecing some blocks before attempting to machine piece them is useful for trying to figure out which way to press the seams. They will go left, right, or open if the "ends" are left unsewn.

It's at least as productive as playing solitaire and sitting around looking at the Quilting Board!

Some of the pieces in the Jane A. Stickle (Dear Jane) and FWS quilt blocks are smaller.
